What is a network?
When two or more computers are connected, that is a network. Computers can be connected to the network via a wire or by using a wireless connection.
Types of networks
Local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), personal area networks (PANs), metropolitan area networks (MANs), and home area networks (HANs) are just a few types of networks. Our focus will be on the two networks that are most relevant to the school setting.
